The WHOOP 3.0's operating temperature range is between 0ºC - 60ºC (32ºF - 140ºF).
The WHOOP 3.0 has a battery life of about 4-5 days.
*Note: if you use WHOOP Live, the battery life will be slightly less.
WHOOP 3.0 Data Storage
The WHOOP 3.0 can store up to three days of data. If the WHOOP 3.0 is not able to sync with the app after three days, the oldest data will be abandoned to make room for more current data.
The WHOOP 3.0 is water-resistant and formally tested to the international standard of IP68. IP, or Ingress Protection, is a measure of a device's ability to resist dust and liquid. The WHOOP 3.0 has an IP rating of 68 which means it is protected against particulate ingresses like dust and dirt as well as being tested to be resistant to submersion in water of depths with a pressure of up to 3ATM (100ft).
WHOOP can be worn for most activities involving water such as:
- Swimming in a pool with chlorinated water
- Swimming in the ocean or other saltwater
- Hand washing
WHOOP cannot be used for diving or scuba diving.
Additionally, it is important to note that some substances like detergents, acids, insect repellent, acetone, nail polish remover, and sunscreen can degrade the WHOOP over time and may affect the signal quality. If you do expose the WHOOP to such substances make sure to wash the device off with fresh water.
IMPORTANT: The WHOOP 3.0 battery pack, however, is not waterproof and you should never expose it to water. Make sure the WHOOP is fully dried before putting a battery pack on.
The WHOOP 3.0 weighs 0.64 ounces. With the battery pack charging the device it weighs 1.16 ounces.
The width of the WHOOP 3.0 sensor is about 1 inch wide and the length is adjustable to fit any wrist.
