When I sign up for a WHOOP membership, is a battery pack included in my order?
Yes! You will receive a package that contains your new WHOOP 4.0, battery pack, and charging cable.
How can I order additional battery packs?
You can order additional battery packs online by visiting the online WHOOP Shop.
Can I use my 3.0 battery pack with my 4.0 (or vice versa)?
The 4.0 battery pack is not compatible with WHOOP 3.0. Similarly, the 3.0 battery pack is not compatible with WHOOP 4.0. Check out 4.0 Battery Pack Overview for more.
What is the battery life of WHOOP 3.0 and WHOOP 4.0?
WHOOP 3.0 and 4.0 both offer 4-5 days of battery life on a full charge. Please note, using Strain Coach and WHOOP Live for long periods of time can have an impact on battery life.
If you're experiencing an issue with your WHOOP, please reach out to our Membership Services team, and we'll assist you. Check out Comparing WHOOP 3.0 to WHOOP 4.0 for more.
Is the battery pack waterproof?
- WHOOP 3.0: Unlike the 3.0 sensor, the 3.0 battery pack is not waterproof and should not be exposed to water.
- WHOOP 4.0: The 4.0 battery pack is IP68 dustproof and water-resistant at depths up to 1 meter (roughly 3.2 feet) for 2 hours. Check out Are My WHOOP 4.0 and Battery Pack Waterproof? for more.
What happens if my battery dies in the middle of the night?
If your battery dies while your sleep is being auto-detected, your sleep session will end at the point at which your battery died.
You can edit this information to reflect your actual time in bed, but this may cause your sleep to appear as incomplete, depending on how much time is unaccounted for. If your sleep is incomplete, you will not see recovery data.
What do I do if my WHOOP 3.0 or 4.0 runs out of battery completely?
If your WHOOP 3.0 or 4.0 completely runs out of battery, slide a charged battery pack onto your 3.0 or 4.0, and the sensor will turn back on. A fully-charged battery pack will charge the 3.0 or 4.0 to 100%.
Once the sensor turns back on, be sure to open up the WHOOP app on your mobile device to ensure that it is collecting data.
