Strain is specifically tied to how long you spend in each Heart Rate Zone during your workout. The Heart Rate Zones of 60% and under will have less of an overall impact on your Strain and ultimately lead to lower Strain scores. If you are looking to increase your Strain, we recommend spending more time in the 70% + Heart Rate Zones as these will have a greater impact on your overall Strain score.
