How to Add the WHOOP iOS Widget

Learn how to use the WHOOP iOS widgets so you can view your daily sleep, strain, recovery, HRV, calories, and battery level at a glance.

How do I add the WHOOP widget?

Home screen widget

Please make sure to download the latest versions of iOS and WHOOP. Both iOS 14.5 or later and WHOOP app version 4.6.10 or later are required for the home screen widget.

  1. From the Home Screen or Today View, touch and hold an empty area on your screen until your app icons jiggle
  2. Select the plus icon on the upper left-hand corner of your screen
  3. Select your preferred WHOOP widget. Choose your preferred widget size, and select add widget
  4. Select done

Lock screen widget

Please make sure to download the latest versions of iOS and WHOOP. Both iOS 16 or later and WHOOP app version 4.6.135 or later are required for the lock screen widget.

With the WHOOP lock screen widgets, you can view your battery and charging status, as well as your individual sleep, strain, and recovery metrics at a glance.

  1. From the lock screen, touch and hold an empty area on your screen until you see the customize and plus icon options
  2. Select customize
  3. Select the box above or below the time
  4. Choose your preferred WHOOP lock screen widgets
  5. Select done

Are there plans to release an Android widget?

There are no current plans to add an Android-based widget, but this may change in the near future as WHOOP continues to innovate. Android WHOOP users, we'll keep you posted!
